My Casa

My Casa – 10 Words

This weeks Monday Listicles has us describing our home in 10 words…I may have to cheat rule bend a little….how about 10 words or phrases that describe my house:::

  1. Filled with family
  2. Full of love
  3. A disaster area some most days
  4. Loud!! – I’m pretty convinced this is the loudest house in America
  5. The place where I get to live with and spend my time with my best friend – AKA the hubs
  6. Where I lay my head at night
  7. Full of dog hair – no matter how hard I try to keep it up I’m always covered in it
  8. The house with the best flower bed on the block…not that I’m proud or anything ;P
  9. Sometimes kind of smelly…hey don’t judge…monsters in diapers, little boys in general, a giant cowdog, and the heat of summer can kind of bring a funktastic smell with it
  10. Never a dull moment…it’s a house full of boys so I’m sure you can only imagine….I have to say I think we’re way more entertaining than most of the reality shows out there…you here TV producers who I’m sure are blog stalking me ;P
And one extra…just because…
  • MINE…AND I WOULDN’T TRADE ANY OF IT FOR THE WORLD!!!….except maybe the funktastic summer smells…Thank God for Fabreze lol

You know what they say, “Home is where the heart is”. Where ever these guys are that will always be home <3

Thursday Throwbacks

My anniversary was last weekend…7 years!! So where was I at this time 7 years ago?? In St. Augustine, FL on my honeymoon. This is one of the last days we spent there, we left just as a tropical storm was heading in.

Looking down from the sky

I really wanted to go para sailing, the water was choppy that day, and something was swimming in circles below us (I don’t care what the company that took us out on the boat said, I KNOW they were sharks not dolphins!!). All in all the honeymoon was fantastic, not only was it a chance to celebrate our marriage, but a break from being mom and dad to two beautiful, exhausting, 3 month old, twin cuties. It also made me realize how much I actually missed the little monsters!!

What’s your Thursday Throwback?? Take a second to think back and make yourself smile with great memories!
